Cancrime is one the few blogs/websites dedicated to covering Canadian crime, criminals and the justice system. Established in September 2008 by award-winning investigative reporter and author Rob Tripp, the site includes a substantial archive of confidential prison/police documents and parole records. In some cases, Cancrime is the only online source of some documents related to notorious criminal cases and infamous criminals. The site has steadily grown in popularity and now attracts an average of 30,000 page views per month, according to tracking of the site by webalizer (visits approximate page views):
